What makes me the happiest is completing a project I started, so of course I am excited every time I deliver a finished wedding album full of images I shot for my wedding clients. I photographed Taylor and Greg’s wedding in October in Warwick, RI and their package included an album. Their images were edited and delivered 10 days after their wedding, and then we started chatting about album design. I always give my wedding clients two options: they can choose 80 or so of their favourite images from the day that they want included in their album, or I will choose the images, design a layout, and send them a PDF proof. From there, they can swap out any images, and then I will send it to print.

Taylor and Greg chose to let me design a layout. When the first draft was complete, I sent them the PDF and they chose to swap out a few images for others that they liked more. Once they approved the overall layout, I sent the album to my lab to be printed. I get so excited when I come home to find a box from my lab at my house! It’s like Christmas opening it up and seeing the prints, album or wall art. I get even more excited when my clients see their products for the first time, so I was really looking forward to giving the album to Taylor and Greg.

Taylor picked up the wedding album this week and loved it. This beautiful fine art album is an 8×8″ lay-flat album with a leather cover that also features one of Taylor and Greg’s favourite images from the day. The album has 20 pages (10 spreads), and the pages are all thick and very sturdy.

Here’s a peek into the finished product!

The wedding album has its own storage box (complete with a bow!). I am able to customize almost everything about the album, even down to the stitching colour.

This image really shows the quality of the craftsmanship of the wedding album. The stitching is clean, the corners are all tightly wrapped and the edges are very crisp and even.

Inside, the pages are all lay-flat with no gutter, meaning that none of the images get lost in the middle of the spreads.

The lustre coating on the pages gives the images a beautiful polished look, plus UV protection. This was one of their favourite images from the day. They were so happy and so in love and I think that really shines through in this photograph.
