I recently traveled to Danversport, MA to photograph Coco and Ted’s intimate elopement at the Danversport Yacht Club, on behalf of Bright Lights Imagery. The day dawned a bit chilly, but we dodged the rain that was close-by so overall I will call the weather a win! Plus, overcast days make for lovely lighting.
Ted and Coco planned their small wedding with their closest friends and family and it was a beautiful, personal event. Coco walked down to the water, where she met Ted for their first look. She was stunning in her long silk gown with detailed beading, and he was so handsome in his suit. Then I had a generous amount of time to photograph Ted and Coco together and with their Best Man and Maid of Honour. Their very sweet, personal ceremony followed, and then everyone sat down for a lovely meal together.
Coco on her way down to Ted for their first look. She mastered these stairs with high-heels on! I was impressed!
The day after the wedding, we had a nor’easter storm that most likely demolished the last of these pink flowers on the trees. I was thrilled that they were still up for these photographs.
Ted and Coco had just 15 guests at their wedding. Most weddings I photograph have 100+ guests and it was great to be able to focus on the couple and their closest friends and family.
Congratulations Coco and Ted and thanks to Kayla from Bright Lights for asking me to photograph this sweet elopement.
