Jamie is expecting her second baby any day now and I am so glad we got out and did her maternity portraits in time! We shot in Ryan Park in North Kingstown, RI and the late summer weather was perfect.
Surrounded by the tall grass in the field we shot these in, it looked like Jamie was on a cloud of tulle. Someone was walking his dog along the path and saw her standing there and stopped and said “WOW you are so beautiful.” After he left we laughed about what it’s like to be pregnant and feel tired and huge and clumsy, and that every pregnant woman deserves at least ONE day to feel absolutely gorgeous (like she is), and that’s what I aim to do during these sessions!
It’s amazing how just moving a few feet over to another spot changes the whole image. Here she was backlit with the sun and I balanced the exposure with a bit of flash in the front. Isn’t she gorgeous?

We finished up the session with a few photos in this Pink Blush gown, also a gown I have for maternity clients that’s a bit more of a casual look. She rocked both dresses!
