Jessica and Keith drove down from Massachusetts for their Narragansett Beach engagement session in Narragansett, RI. I have spent so many afternoons walking along and enjoying the beach and rarely are there waves like there were yesterday. The remnants of Hurricane Jose brought big surf and lots of fog to Rhode Island’s coast yesterday. It was beautiful!
The beach was absolutely packed. Recently it was opened up to dogs and horses and there were dogs running around everywhere! Plus with the mild temperatures and huge waves, the surfers were in surfing heaven riding the waves to our left and right. We walked a ways down the beach to a spot that was a little more quiet than the main stretch.
I have had these copper wire LED lights in my camera bag for ages and rarely pull them out. I thought they’d add the perfect spark to the ring shot, plus the shell I found to use had some warm brown spots that tied the whole image in!
After I photographed the ring, Jessica asked me, how much longer do I need to look presentable for? I said, well I have gotten what I really wanted, why what do you have in mind?
She took Keith by the hand and…
Off they went!
I was impressed, not gonna lie!
How romantic is that?
This Narragansett Beach engagement session is one I won’t forget! Luckily these two came prepared with a dry change of clothes so they didn’t have to spend the whole two hour drive home soggy and sandy.
