I LOVE photographing small, intimate weddings, and I got to photograph Mike and Victoria’s wedding at the lovely Forge & Vine in my hometown recently. I grew up in Groton when it wasn’t nearly as cool as it is now (funny how that happens!) but since I moved to RI, Groton’s become kind of a hub with some lovely high end restaurants, a new beautiful hotel, and lots of hype surrounding all of this development.
Mike and Victoria invited just a handful of guests to their ceremony and treated them all to a delicious meal afterward. The day was drizzly but between rain clouds, I ushered them outside for portraits. Overall it was a perfect day filled with love, family and happiness. Their friends and family sent them off to start their new lives together with a champagne toast and a white stretch limousine that whisked them away.
