While most of my 2020 couples who had been planning for over a year had their weddings completely uprooted by COVID, Pamela and David decided to take advantage of the moment and they pulled together an absolutely beautiful wedding in a matter of weeks. In front of about 75 guests in their back yard, they said their vows and had a tented reception. They live on a mini farm with goats, pigs, turkeys, chickens and bunnies and their guests loved peeking in on the animals throughout the day. Pam is a super talented florist based in North Kingstown (check out her business at Flowers by Bert and Peg) and in addition to hiring me, they also hired a North Kingstown based caterer, a North Kingstown based planner, and a North Kingstown based DJ. It was truly a village effort to bring this all to fruition!
