I’ve known Jessica for quite some time now and have photographed her wedding, engagement, rock the dress, and various animals over the years. She recently got a new horse, Puget Sound (aka Dave) and after a bit of r&r he was ready for his portrait session. I drove up to NH to meet him at his barn, and was immediately impressed by his presence. You see, he’s a bit of Thoroughbred royalty, earning almost $230,000 during a long racing career, and I think he knows that he’s hot stuff.
We did the full range of portraits from the classic black background images, to the at liberty stuff in the outdoor ring and field, and the owner relationship portraits (my fave). It’s extra exciting to be asked to photograph a horse as loved and revered as Puget Sound. He’s a lovely guy and really got the BEST home with Jess.
