I really enjoyed photographing this wedding in early September. Brianna and John are both exceptionally kind, laid back and welcoming and so were their families. They made my job so enjoyable and easy. They were originally supposed to get married in June but had their plans derailed and ended up putting together a beautiful tented event in John’s parents’ back yard in Chepachet, though they did have their legal ceremony on their original June 13th date.
Brianna contacted me just a few months before her wedding to John, since their original photographer was not available for their rescheduled wedding date. COVID has almost completely changed how people book wedding professionals. Typically I am booked 12-24 months in advance but this year, I’ve had many clients book me for weddings with very little lead time. It’s been a wild ride! But I have my workflow down to a science after photographing so many weddings over the past 15 years, so it has been no problem to get my clients up to speed even with limited days/weeks before their event. Of course it helps to have super organized clients, like Bri is.
