Watson’s Best Day Ever | Dog Portraits
After their Golden Retriever Watson received a devastating diagnosis, Sarah and her husband Russell scheduled a “Best Day Ever” photo session. The day was full of places that are meaningful and/or happy for Watson and his family. I met them at their house, where we got some portraits of Watson in their wood shed, which he loves. That was the start of such a pure, heartwarming day with them. Goldens are so sweet and just the fact that he loves the wood shed that much made it clear it would be a memorable session!
After their house, we went to Seven Stars Bakery in East Greenwich, where he got a pup cup (and the humans got a coffee, naturally!). Watson LOVES pup cups.
We left Seven Stars and went to the West Greenwich Sand Dunes for some portraits in nature. Watson loves going for adventures and had a great time playing. We kept it light and short so we didn’t overexert him, but he seemed very happy.
Watson did have an area clipped on his leg and another large area on his side from a recent vet visit, which I edited out of some of the portraits.
