Some of my favourite sessions to do are equine portrait sessions, both on location at the beach or a field, and at local barns. In a single session, I can incorporate classic horse and rider portraits, black and/or white background portraits, photos of the horse at liberty and under saddle, and conformation photos. I’ve been an equestrian my whole life and have a good feel for the perfect moment, along with great horsemanship skills that can always come in handy. I am happy to hold your reins for you, give you a leg up, and crinkle a peppermint wrapper to get your horse’s attention.
Full equine portrait sessions are an hour in length, are priced starting at $600, and include 20 high resolution digital files. Travel outside of Rhode Island is available at an extra cost.
I also offer mini equine portrait sessions at local barns. Mini sessions are for groups of three or more people at the same barn who book sessions on the same date. Sessions are priced at $195 for 20 minutes of photography and five digital files with a print release. Generally one boarder or the barn owner will help spread the word about me coming, and in return will receive a $20 credit towards their own session for every person who signs up. For example, if 5 other boarders sign up, then the coordinator will receive $100 off their own session.
