Yayyy you’ve made it to the part where we get to plan your engagement session! I LOVE to do engagement sessions because they are really fun, they’re a laid back, no stress way for us to get to know each other more and practice some of my silly prompts, and you’ll get lots of beautiful portraits out of it! Win/win. This is also my chance to help you through any concerns about not being comfortable in front of the camera, or feeling awkward, or not knowing what to do with yourself. Don’t worry about any of this – 90% of my clients feel the same way, and we still manage to have a great time and get authentic, natural portraits.
This form will help me plan the date, time and location of your engagement session. As a general rule, I schedule the start of sessions 1 hour prior to sunset. If you need an idea of when that’ll be for the dates you’re looking at, Google “sunset on _________” (enter date there) and Google will tell you exactly when sunset is. I’ll confirm the start time when we pick a date and location. For some locations, like downtown city areas, I start earlier because the buildings cause the sun to “dip” sooner than in a flat location like the beach.
